Memories!
I still recall my first day of 4th grade. My mom got me out of bed super early and had me take a bath and she made a formal dinner. She had recently gotten out of the hospital and was determined to fix a proper breakfast for her family every day… I’m kind of grateful that only happened a few days. My teacher, Mrs. Reed, commented towards the end of the school year how silly my hair looked on the first day of school. She was such a fun teacher! I was scared of her at first, but she was really down to earth and I learned a lot from her.
Gavin & Alex’s First Day Back to School!
Here we are… and Grandma said I couldn’t wear my hat

My grandsons have such delightful senses of humor. Their personalities are delightful. We discussed at length how important it is to make a good first impression today… and yes, they both wore the Focus Blend today.
Yes… he really loves me… I get it.

He makes me smile with his faces. He enjoys being a clown… oh oh!
It has been such an interesting experience to witness the relationship between them over the years…
They support each other and they vie for dominance. It’s an interesting dance they participate in. We’re grateful that so far they are friends!

Grandma said I could wear my hat!
And now, Gavin says, “I get to wear my hat!” and Alex approves.
So after some time…
Can we go to school now?
Boredom sets in… and of course no 9 year old boy wants to be bored.
