Much has been said about Stress
I have enjoyed all the comments I have received lately about this blog. It’s wonderful to hear how I may have helped others. In my practice, there seems to be a recurring concern… stress. I have heard so much about this topic, from the standpoint of western medicine, eastern medicine, holistic medicine, and energetic healing. So what is stress? I’ve heard it said that stress does not exist, but rather it is a manifestation of your environmental emotions. Some prescriptions for stress include
- relaxation exercises
- strenuous exercise
- chocolate
- “retail therapy”
- deep breathing exercises
- taking a walk in nature
All of these prescriptions are effective. Lee Holden claims deep breathing exercises detoxify the meridians and allow the body to release emotional negativity from all major organs.
My belief…
Stress is when you allow the negative emotions around you to penetrate your field of energy, this happens subconsciously. You feel over burdened, drained or sluggish. This is the first stage and may be referred to as “energetic stagnation“. The next stage manifests in muscle tension or pain. Then, if you don’t listen to your body, it moves to illness – such as a cold, flu or even a strained muscle. If you continue to ignore the symptoms, serious illness can occur. The SimplyHealed™ method of energy healing is extremely effective in releasing stress of all kind. Regular sessions can keep you in a “stress free zone”. This is a preventative approach to help you maintain overall health and well being. Remember, it’s not just making it through each day, but rather enjoying each and every day.
The SimplyHealed™ approach to relieve stress
When dealing with stress that is present due to family, job or even health situations, this is what is accomplished with a session:
- root cause of the situation is neutralized – you may have the memory, but the emotional charge is no longer present
- emotional blocks are released that caused you to feel stuck in the situation
- clarity restored
- you become open to and begin attracting what you need to facilitate the change needed
- peace is restored

I once took a stress management course in college. I learned that all illness comes from stress, especially cancer.
Yvonne Brown
Stress does terrible things to the body. Energetically speaking, cancer is a self destructing disease. When we have severe stress, we just want a way out. Unfortunately cancer is one choice for the body to find a way out.
Any good positive reading is like this blog is a good tuneup
I enjoy reading your lovely blogs
Thank you so much Dov for your kind words! and thank you to all who have commented! You all have made my day!
Thank you!
Fabulous article. You’re doing great work to help lots of people, this is a needed thing for sure.
I always enjoy all of our posts. This is another great post. Learning to manage stress is very important to being healthy.
Thank you Heather!
Great post Loretta. What about “positive” stress?
I realize some have stated the opinion that positive stress is good… I don’t look at it in that way. If our lives are in balance, there won’t need to be any stress of any kind… only action embraced in joy, and excitement!
Breathe. It works.
Loretta, I like what you say about your approach: root cause of the situation is neutralized – you may have the memory, but the emotional charge is no longer present. Sounds good to me.
Thanks so much for the post today Loretta! I do believe that if stress isn’t properly managed, and eradicated it will lead to serious illnesses. I saw that happen first hand with my late husband, who died at age 32. Life does get crazy for me but my daily meditations help tremendously. Always great reading your posts! 🙂
Oh Veronica, I’m so sorry for your loss! Thank you for your touching comment.
Stress is not a good thing at all. I love my stress free days, and I make them a regular in my day. Crocheting, reading and not doing housework are some of the things I do Thanks and make it a stress free day.
I agree… except for one thing. I actually de-stress doing laundry! I know… sick! LOL! I love the smell of clean clothes.
I agree that stress is caused by letting negative emotions take over. I love this, “Stress is when you allow the negative emotions around you to penetrate your field of energy, this happens subconsciously.” Great post!
Thank you Deanna!!
Stress is a killer for sure. It really does manifest exactly as you say too. I am a very relaxed person, not much bothers me. I do have my moments, when I do I head to the beach by myself and lounge out in the sun, phone off and in the car and relax there listening to the waves crash on the sand. I feel so much better after doing this.
yep… the waves are such a calming sound!
We all have stress. The key is to managing it well. You can’t let it take over your day and your life. I like to keep a positive outlook. It helps to keep stress away.
Stress sucks!
This weekend was a tough one for me, and remembering to keep those negative thoughts and emotions out of my head has been difficult. I know it’ll pass as I reframe the event from negative to the positive.
I love what you do!
Thank you for this… I feel stressed allot!!
Hope I’ve given you some ideas on how to alleviate the stress, Rob.
I agree with you about the stress. It is a fact of life, but I think it can be managed. Thank you for sharing this today.
Hi Loretta. Wonderful post. I am a firm believer that stress causes illness or pain. The leg and back problem that I recently had, the very first thing I attributed it too was stress. Stress from moving and driving two 14 hour days. My goal in life is to live a stress free life. When you give up stress ( its almost like an addiction, isn’t it) your life will be happier and fuller. When I find myself in a stressing situation, I have to remind myself that I am causing the stressed feeling. Me, no one else and I can control my feelings. If I am stressed over something I know that continually putting those vibes out into the universe will only bring me more of the same. Once I realize what I am doing I consciously release my worry and stress. I let it go. It feels so good.
Thank you for your blog… oh, and nice website 🙂
