As an Energy Practitioner, I rarely get sick, but if I’m distracted, occasionally a bug can slip by me… Once a virus struck me when I was not paying much attention. Since I don’t normally get sick, this was a shock… It was a nasty virus, too, with all the aches and pains.
Another approach!
This time, instead of reaching for the pain relievers that tend to upset my stomach, I reached for my Peppermint Essential Oil.
I rubbed it on every place that hurt, especially on my stomach. I was amazed how quickly I felt soothing relief! From joint aches to muscle aches to occasional stomach upset, one remedy worked for all. It smelled wonderful too, so with it on my hands from applying it, I held my hands to my face and breathed in deeply the soothing aroma. It smells like Peppermint Patties and did wonders for the tension in my head! I would recommend every medicine cabinet to be stocked with this wonderful little bottle!
Peppermint is also effective for digestion, circulation and for helping breathing during seasonal threats or long runs! I normally use it for increasing oxygenation while running.
First line of defense…
I find it most helpful with my grandsons when they bring threats home from school. They now know that if they’re not feeling up to par to ask for Peppermint oil! We apply directly to whatever area requires soothing. (A carrier oil – we prefer coconut – is recommended for delicate skin. Young skin only requires 1 drop essential oil to 10 drops of carrier oil.) It works so well because when applied to the skin, it penetrates the body and strengthens us from within.

Only use Therapeutic Grade oils that are Certified Pure! Lesser quality oils may not give you the results you’re looking for.
Tidbits of interest…
As an energy practitioner, I am trained to locate energetic blockages that prevent you from moving forward, and together we clear or release them. To assist you in the shift, one technique used is plugging in the vibrational frequency of anything to support you at that time. I often plug in the vibration of essential oils. They are powerful!
It`s really useful! Looking through the Internet you can mostly observe watered down information, something like bla bla bla, but not here to my deep surprise. It makes me happy..!
Love it, love it, Loretta! It is so important for us to get back to the basics and to use holistic methods as much as possible! I also remember mint, peppermint and chamomile as well as other herbs that my mom and grandmothers used for tea. They gave us the tea for several different things, it was great!
Thank you Marian 🙂 the essential oil is much stronger than the tea… But the tea is wonderful too!

Thank you Stacy, for introducing me to a new concept for me 🙂 what’s a ping back, and how do you do it?
Yes, Peppermint is one oil that can be tried for joint discomfort. Eucalyptus or rosemary is good too. There are also some blends for joint discomfort. The Soothing Blend is one. It smells like some of the over the counter stuff except the essential oils give a little better response. Please contact me for more information
Great Post!
What valuable information:) Next time I am feeling off, I will have to reach for peppermint oil:)
This is great info.
I love your grandma spirit Loretta 🙂
thanks, Dov 🙂
Great article with information I never knew about! Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure!
Sounds like an amazing holistic product!
This sounds like an amazing product. I have never heard of the benefits of peppermint oil before. I should try it.
I used to suffer from chronic low back pain and joint pain until I found a great chiropractor who uses the Activator Method. Also, eating more raw leafy greens and vegetables while eliminating refined sugars and packaged foods helped me to heal. Of course that was before energy healing 🙂
Wonderful tips, I will definitely give it a try.
I would have never thought of that. Thanks for the great tip!
It really is amazing what those oils do.. i use it for tension in my head all the time!
Thanks for the tip, I will have to give it a try
Wow! This may be for me since I don’t like taking medicine.
We truly love it!
This is so natural Loretta. Thanks for sharing. I am a great fan of organic medicines and foods too. If I were to recommend an aromatic herb that is known for its versatile uses, peppermint oil would win with my hands down.
My grandmother used to grow spearmint in her backyard. Whenever one of us kids had a stomach ache, she’d make us fresh spearmint tea and we always felt better.
What a wonderful memory!
Oh wow! So you just rub it on your stomach? I have a stomach problem and it hurts me all the time! I will have to try this out!
Yes… Do you know what is ailing your stomach?
Liniment oils have been a household staple for us but I haven’t tried yet this Peppermint oil. Sounds interesting. I wonder how it smells.
It smells like a York peppermint patty 🙂
I really don’t know much about oils. But if I am under the weather I drink peppermint tea. So soothing.
Good information here.. My grandma lived to be 98 and used peppermint oil her whole life..
wow! that’s great!
Thanks, Tyler.
