Creativity, a Gift of Joy!

What are you Creating today?

beach art

Over the holidays, I enjoyed walking on the pier in Huntington Beach. We have seen these creations in the past, and they have always amazed me! Someone has been making these life sized mazes and encouraged people to walk them through to the finish. I have even participated walking through them.

They are beautifully created with precision. I’ve often wondered how they have done this! They show up at low tide so the shore is packed sand, providing the perfect landscape to create a huge piece of work. I wish I could go at a time when the artist is present so I may tell him/her just how wonderful this truly is!

You can see by some of these pictures just how large these are. I was standing on the pier in order to get a good view to share with you.

So Again I Ask…

What are you creating today? Every day can be a work of art! I have a wonderful tool to assist me in creating my days, weeks, months and even years. I want to share this tool with you so you can create your life with the precision that these beautiful beach mazes have been created. Yes, it is possible to create your life with precision. I believe we are meant to create our life. Some people refer to this tool as Vision Statements, Mission Statements, or even Goals… I like to refer to it as a Manifestation List. Mainly because I expect it to manifest in my life. Manifestation lists are normally written in present or past tense. This adds to the flow of the creation aspect. After your list is written, it’s important to make sure all energetic blocks are cleared and that you are connected to your manifestation. This is easily accomplished utilizing the SimplyHealed Method® of Energy Healing.

I Encourage You…

Take a moment to think about this. Put some thoughts down, and then let’s talk. You’ll be pleasantly amazed as I was with my first manifestation list.  After all, life doesn’t just happen and then we pass away. Life is meant to be full of choices and rich with good thoughts.

A Testimonial…

“I finally am free of pain. I feel safe and excited to embrace life! Thank you so much!” Receiving testimonials is a common correspondence that I never tire of receiving! I love helping others, and am looking forward to helping you in what ever it is you would like to accomplish!

Energy Work Clears Fears and More!

Here’s a blast to the past!

When I was a little girl, Bozo was very popular. I used to watch Bozo all the time. I was about the age of the children sitting in the audience. I enjoyed the cartoons, and wished I could be at an event such as this, but then Bozo enters the set and I would feel extremely uneasy! I hated Bozo! I was afraid of him and didn’t realize this was an emotion I was experiencing, after all, he was in the TV, and not being mean or threatening in any way. Everyone loved Bozo.

Why did I fear Bozo?!

It wasn’t until I was 43 years old and experiencing my first Circue de Soleil performance. Sitting in the audience, the bigger than life, elaborately costumed clowns came out and I wanted to leave screaming. I became very uncomfortable even being up in the stands. I realized at that time what I had known deep inside all my life… I had a fear of clowns! Which explains why my 4th birthday was not as fun as one would expect – my mother had arranged for a clown to come with his Merry-Go-Round.

Enter Energy Healing…

Understanding this fear, I avoided clowns until I was introduced to Energy Healing – and in particular, the Carolyn Cooper SimplyHealed Method®. I don’t recall even addressing having the fear. All of a sudden I no longer was afraid of clowns! There wasn’t even the hint of apprehension. This proves the point that when working with energy, issues are cleared whether they are spoken or unspoken! It’s truly wonderful no longer having this fear controlling my life!

What are YOU ready to release?

Group Energy Calls, My Experience…

Have you ever participated in a group energy healing call?

red phone

I have, with both amazing results and subtle results. One time the call topic was on financial abundance. Shortly after the call I received an insurance payout I didn’t know existed. I transcribed some of the affirmations that resonated with me and posted them on my bathroom mirror. I felt a source of strength on days following from reminding myself of what had been cleared in that session.

Another time…

cell phones

I joined a call on family relationships, I was anxious about Thanksgiving and having the feast at my home. There were complicated family dynamics going on. After the call, I felt peace and calm. Plus, the usual dysfunctional occurrences were neutralized.

And yet another time,

Nokia evolucion

I joined a call. I cannot recall what the topic was because it was not on the topic I needed, but I realized that it didn’t matter what the topic was, or even that my issues were discussed, many issues cleared at the same time whether or not I vocalized them, or if it was the topic or not. I received the shift I was hoping for.

Couldn’t make the call, but purchased anyway!

TelephoneComputer
I have also purchased group calls that I knew I would not be able to attend because that particular topic resonated with me. I listened to the recording of the call after the fact, and received the desired shift.

Did you feel the shift?

How do you know you’ve received the intended shift? Here are the top comments from my clients,
  • I feel energized and hopeful!
  • I felt peace and calm
  • I feel a sense of being lighter, like a burden has been lifted!
  • I didn’t feel anything at the ending of the call, but shortly after the call, I noticed the difference. The old triggers that caused discord in my family didn’t hold the emotional punch they once did.

Of course, you may have a different experience altogether! What’s important is that you recognize what may be an indication of a shift. When energy has shifted, you begin attracting what you need. You may feel inspiration to visit with a certain friend, or seize an opportunity – go with it! Everything we need for our success is right at our fingertips; clearing the energetic blocks makes those things we need reachable!

Energy cleared allows attraction to tangible needs

The shift often occurs by opening you up for the support you need. You actually attract what you need in whatever situation you are seeking a shift. One time I was hoping for an improvement in my digestion. Shortly after receiving the work, I was introduced to water kefir granules. It was exactly the support I needed, and I have been cultivating them ever since and sharing them with my friends. This is also the way I was introduced to essential oils, Thrive freeze dried foods, Rolfing, and many other things that have blessed my life in many wonderful ways!

Time for a BELLY LAUGH!

I LOVE laughing!

Laughter makes you feel joyous. That good feeling you get when you laugh remains with you even after the laughter subsides. Humor helps us keep a positive, optimistic outlook through difficult situations, disappointments, and loss. It literally raises ones energetic vibration, so not only do we feel better, it radiates to everyone else around us.

Laughter is contagious…

Like the innocent laughter of a precious little baby…

I love laughing! I needed this laugh, did you?

Laughing is Healing!

Some people are able to release negative energy when laughing. I know it works for me. Though sometimes people struggle just to laugh at all. When I was younger, I learned how important it was to laugh. I began looking for reasons to laugh. I would watch funny shows and laugh. But to be honest, I had to give myself permission to laugh. Somehow that made it OK or safe to laugh. Once I did that, laughing became easier. The more I laughed the easier it was, and the happier I was! I’ve read and heard it said that if you have  a serious illness that you should find things to laugh at – watch TV shows that would make you laugh. After all, it’s been said that laughter is the best medicine!

Laughter is a great Stress Relief!

Sometimes we may find ourselves so focused on the day to day grind that we forget to laugh. Should you realize that, please take a moment and find something to laugh about. Hopefully you can find an avenue to laugh quickly. We used to have a radio station here that had 5:00 Funnies. Every day they would play a portion of a stand up routine from different comedians. Some were really funny and I was grateful I was car pooling and not the one driving!

Laughter Therapy: after all it is the best medicine!

Carolyn Cooper had taught me how to live a new life with the use of SimplyHealed™. I love her philosophies, too… Here’s what she has to say about Laughter

“A clown is like an aspirin, only he works twice as fast.” (Groucho Marx)

We’ve all been there. Maybe sitting in a restaurant, an office waiting room, or shopping at the grocery store and you hear someone laughing heartily or uncontrollably giggling. It’s hard to not smile and maybe even (depending on how great the laugh is) begin giggling yourself. Laughter is contagious–just hearing laughter primes your brain and readies you to smile and join in on the fun. Laughter is so good for us in so many ways…..

Balances your Energy Systems

Laughter makes you feel good. And the good feeling that you get when you laugh remains with you even after the laughter subsides. Humor helps you keep a positive, optimistic outlook through difficult situations, disappointments, and loss. It literally raises your energetic vibration, so not only do you feel better, it radiates to everyone else around you. More than just a respite from sadness and pain, laughter gives you the courage and strength to find new sources of meaning and hope. Often during an energy clearing session clients want to work on having more clarity and opening up to more creativity. I like to pose the question, “How many times this week have you had a really good laugh?” Sometimes until we talk about it, they don’t get the connection, but laughter can have a huge effect on your creative processes. It opens your mind and heart and strengthens your aura!

Increases Joy in Relationships

When we laugh with one another, a positive bond is created. This bond acts as a strong buffer against stress, disagreements, and disappointment. Shared laughter is one of the most effective tools for keeping relationships fresh and exciting. Humor is a powerful and effective way to heal resentments and hurts and it unites people during difficult times. Humor and playful communication strengthen our relationships by triggering positive feelings and fostering emotional connection. I always love to see a couple that has been together for years, and they still laugh at each other’s semi-humorous comments. That speaks volumes about their relationship. Mutual laughter and play are an essential component of strong, healthy relationships. By making a conscious effort to incorporate more humor and play into your daily interactions, you can improve the quality of your love relationships– as well as your connections with co-workers, family members, and friends.

Benefits your Physical Health

In addition, laughter triggers healthy physical changes in the body. Did you know a good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after? Laughter also decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease. It triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain. Laughter protects the heart by improving the function of blood vessels and increasing blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.
The focus on the benefits of laughter really began with Norman Cousin’s memoir, Anatomy of an Illness. Cousins, who was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, a painful spine condition believed that he could, cure himself, even against all the specialists’ prognoses. He used humor as both a painkiller and a substitute for chemical therapy. He found that by watching a lot of comedies, like Marx Brothers films and episodes of Candid Camera, he was, in fact able to heal. He said that ten minutes of laughter allowed him two hours of pain-free sleep.

Emotionally

Humor helps you be more spontaneous by getting you out of your head and away from your troubles. It helps you let go of defensiveness, by helping you forget judgments, criticisms, and doubts. Laughter also helps to release unhealthy inhibitions. It brings you to a place where you can set aside your fear of holding back.

Developing a sense of humor about yourself opens you up to taking more risks that will move you forward in all aspects of your life.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Laughter is a natural part of life that is innate and inborn. Infants begin smiling during the first weeks of life and laugh out loud within months of being born. Sometimes we as adults get so busy with the ‘important’ things on our to do list, we neglect the levity that is so much needed in our lives. So how do we add more light and laughter into our lives? Even if you did not grow up in a household where laughter was a common sound, or if you did and you’ve forgotten how important that is, you can learn to laugh at any stage of life.
Here are some ways to start:
  • Smile. Smiling is the beginning of laughter. Like laughter, it’s contagious. Pioneers in “laugh therapy” find it’s possible to laugh without even experiencing a funny event. The same holds for smiling. When you look at someone or see something even mildly pleasing, practice smiling.
  • Count your blessings. Literally make a list. The simple act of considering the good things in your life will distance you from negative thoughts that are a barrier to humor and laughter.
  • When in a state of sadness, we have further to travel to get to humor and laughter
  • When you hear laughter, move toward it. Sometimes humor and laughter are private, a shared joke among a small group, but usually not. More often, people are very happy to share something funny because it gives them an opportunity to laugh again and feed off the humor you find in it. When you hear laughter, seek it out and ask, “What’s funny?”
  • Spend time with fun, playful people. These are people who laugh easily-both at themselves and at life’s absurdities-and who routinely find the humor in everyday events. Their playful point of view and laughter are contagious.
  • Bring humor into conversations. Ask people, “What’s the funniest thing that happened to you today? This week? In your life?”
Anyone can join the laughter movement. All it takes is a willingness to see the humor in things. Now of course you understand I’m talking about good, wholesome humor. Not sarcasm that is funny to only some and hurtful to others. There’s more than enough negativity in our world. We want to be able to be optimistic; laugh when we have a choice of being annoyed or seeing humor in our daily situations. All we have to do is allow ourselves to relax, lighten up and look for opportunities to lift our spirit and the spirits of those around us. Laughter is feeling deeply which allows us to live fully.
Humor lightens your burdens, inspires hopes, connects you to others, and keeps you grounded, focused, and alert. Here are a couple of great quotes from men who faced grim circumstances and still understood laughter’s power to heal, renew and take the edge off of surmounting problems.
“Gentlemen, why don’t you laugh? With the fearful strain that is upon me day and night, if I did not laugh I should die, and you need this medicine as much as I do.” Abraham Lincoln, during the Civil War
I would never have made it if I could not have laughed. Laughing lifted me momentarily . . . out of this horrible situation, just enough to make it livable . . . survivable.” Victor Frankl, survived Nazi concentration camp
Laughter is a powerful antidote to stress, pain, and conflict. Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easily accessible!
